I exist, that's all.
And that trouble is so vague, so metaphysical that I am ashamed of it.
Jean-Paul Sartre

I've always loved to read, since I was a child. Many hours of my life were spent reading books of various genres and typologies (from novels to essays, from biographies to manuals). The fact at home I've been taught reading earlier is extremely important: when other kids spent hours in front of TV (which I did too, but not as much as them), I used to pick up a book and read. Also, for birthdays or other celebrations, books were always among my presents. Every book I had the chance to read has left a mark on my way of perceiving the reality. I think it's mainly thanks to books that I've grown up not being a complete idiot like most people (who in fact only read for school or useless crappy books)... Yes, I'm very picky when it comes to this subject, and no, you can't be my friend if you only read Lord of the Rings et similia, ha!

I can't write a complete list. Anyway, here are some of the books I found particularly inspirational.
